Beuth University of Applied Sciences Berlin is one of Germany‘s largest state universities of applied sciences. They are our partner for the EXIST Gründerstipendium. We are supported by the Beuth Startup Hub and our fantastic Mentor Prof. Dr. Florian Schindler, PhD in environmental engineering and engineering degree in biotechnology. Prof. Dr. Schindler is heading the Distance Learning Institute at Beuth.
Furthermore we are supported by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Martin Behne and the Laboratory for Building Renovation and Energy Efficiency of Faculty IV. Topics of energy-efficient planning and operation of buildings as well as aspects of building physics and the background of structural damage are dealt with in teaching and research.
The rooftop area of the Laboratory is home to our Test-HIIVES. Our project blends very well into the focus areas building technology, energy efficiency and sustainability of Prof. Martin Behne.
